Phrenos is looking for a talented Proposal Writer to support the drafting of high-quality technical offers submitted to EU institutions. You will contribute directly to the excellence of our proposals by producing clear, persuasive, and compliant narrative content.
Key Responsibilities (Writer-focused)
- Draft high-quality narrative sections for EU tenders (methodology, organisation, work plans, quality assurance, communication strategies, etc.)
- Analyse tender specifications, evaluation grids, and templates to produce fully compliant written content
- Adapt writing style to the requirements of various EU contracting authorities
- Synthesise technical inputs from experts, project managers, and partners into clear, structured text
- Contribute to the improvement of writing templates, narrative frameworks, and best practices
- Support final quality checks, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with award criteria
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience drafting proposals for EU institutions
- Excellent writing skills in English (C2 level), with precision, clarity, and structure
- Ability to translate complex information into accessible, compelling narratives
- Familiarity with EU institutions, procurement rules, and technical offer expectations
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and respecting deadlines
- Ability to manage several writing assignments simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure
- French is an asset; other EU languages are a plus
