Phrenos supported the Belgian agency for international cooperation, Enabel, in strengthening the visibility of the EU Regional Business Forum – West Africa Corridors, that took place in Abidjan from 30 March to 1 April 2026.
Organised by Enabel in partnership with the European Commission and key national and regional partners, including the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs of the Government of Côte d’Ivoire, the Forum aimed to mobilise investment along the Abidjan-Lagos and Abidjan-Ouagadougou strategic corridors (CALAO). Aligned with the EU’s and Team Europe Initiatives, it brought together key public and private stakeholders to promote regional integration, stimulate investment opportunities, and foster partnerships in transport, logistics, urban mobility and trade facilitation.
Phrenos implemented this contract in partnership with AG Partners Publicis Africa. Phrenos led the strategic coordination of the Forum’s communication activities, with a strong focus on pre-event mobilisation, digital visibility and graphic design, while AG Partners was responsible for press relations and on-the-ground communication operations, including live social media coverage, photography and video capture.
Phrenos’ work included the development of a communication and marketing plan, the production of bilingual social media content designed to boost registrations, deepen the understanding of the CALAO corridors, and mobilise investors, as well as the creation of graphic supports, from digital banners and agendas to presentation templates and on-site signage.
By helping make the Forum’s investment opportunities more visible, credible and actionable, Phrenos contributed to the mobilisation of around 750 participants, 250 companies from 36 countries, 214 B2B meetings and more than €25 billion in investment projects.
This project once again reflects Phrenos’ ongoing commitment to Africa and to development initiatives that aim to create a real and lasting impact.
