Since 2023, Phrenos has been supporting the Delegation of the European Union to Senegal in implementing a wide-ranging communication and public diplomacy strategy, designed to enhance the visibility of the EU’s priorities, values, and partnerships in Senegal.
In close collaboration with our local partner AG PARTNERS DAKAR, we provide strategic communication services including media relations, content creation, campaign development, and event coordination. This support aligns with the Delegation’s broader goals of fostering inclusive dialogue, raising awareness about EU-funded initiatives, and strengthening ties with citizens and local stakeholders.
A concrete example of our work under this contract is the « Daje, ànd, Gagner » – a 360° communication campaign focused on promoting youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and opportunities through EU-supported programmes. The campaign combines on-the-ground engagement with dynamic storytelling across digital channels to highlight the positive impact of the EU’s partnership with Senegal. The campaign aims to transform urban mobility in Dakar, Senegal. The European Union and Senegal are strengthening the country’s green and digital economic growth through the Global Gateway strategy.
In May 2025, the campaign was awarded the Bronze at the 8th edition of the Pitcher Awards in the category ‘Corporate Image & Reputation Management’, one of Phrenos’ main activities and areas of expertise.
