Since 2021, Phrenos has been in charge of the European Green Capital Secretariat, an initiative from the European Commission’s Directorate General for the Environment.
These Awards invite European cities to showcase their achievements in terms of environmental policies and activities to try and win the title of the European Green Capital or European Green Leaf (for cities with less than 100.000 inhabitants).
In addition to the Secretariat, Phrenos is designing and managing the entire communication strategy and coordinating the Awards’ cycles and official ceremonies. This is done for both the European Green Capital and the European Green Leaf Awards.
Phrenos is also providing web editing and knowledge management services for DG ENV’s EU Green Capital Award project. Our agency is responsible for ensuring that all web content is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging for visitors to the website.
Additionally, Phrenos is providing knowledge management services, helping organise and share information between project stakeholders in a seamless and efficient manner
